Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Probara, you agree to these Terms. These Terms apply to users worldwide. If you use Probara on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

Account Terms

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your API key. Do not share your key or commit it to public source control. Treat it as a password.
• You must provide accurate and complete information when registering. Accounts registered with false information may be suspended.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@probara.dev if you suspect unauthorized use.

Payment Terms

• Paid plans are billed monthly on the anniversary of your signup date. Billing is handled by Stripe; see stripe.com/legal for Stripe's terms.
• Accepted payment methods are those supported by Stripe (major credit and debit cards). We do not accept checks, wire transfers, or cryptocurrency.
• Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated for the remainder of the billing cycle. Downgrades take effect at the start of the next billing cycle.
• If a payment fails, access to paid features will be suspended after a 7-day grace period. We will attempt to notify you at your registered email address before suspension.
• All fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law or as expressly stated in a separate written agreement.

Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement with 30 days written notice. We may terminate immediately and without notice if you violate these Terms (including unauthorized use, abuse of the API, or fraudulent activity).

Upon termination, your API key will be revoked. Account data will be deleted within 90 days of termination, except billing records retained per legal obligations.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Probara's total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or use of Probara is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months immediately preceding the claim.

In no event shall Probara be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of data, or loss of goodwill, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

AI Service Disclaimer

Probara uses artificial intelligence to generate outputs. AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, or not suitable for your specific circumstances. You are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying any AI-generated outputs before relying on them.

Evidence grades and dose-match verdicts reflect certainty of the research literature at the time of query. They are not medical advice, not FDA-evaluated statements, and not a substitute for consultation with a qualified healthcare professional or regulatory attorney.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and both parties consent to personal jurisdiction therein.
